Hi, can you please elaborate how the firmware version (UART command 0xA2) should be displayed? Is it just a hexadecimal value, like 0x00001005 or is there some structure to it, like one byte for the main version, one for the subversion and two for the build number? Best,

Hi,
To read the firmware version you need to send the following packet (in case your device address is set on Zero):
FFFF00A20000000000FE
once you send it, as the response SOLO will send you back sth like below which is the version of the software it has on it (the latest F.W version):
FFFF00A20000B00400FE
The DATA section in the response command elaborates the Version of the firmware in which in this case is named 0x0000B004 which stands for BETA_V004 firmware, at the moment in BETA models, until the final version gets released, we will keep increasing the last digit which stands for progressive BETA updates. the second and first digits will be used for major and critical updates respectively in the future.

I am currently still working on the Solo GUI application and it is time to fill the help browser with content. Is there some kind of Changelog for each firmware version?

The user-manual on our website will be always updated for the latest F.W version, so at the moment you can refer to that to make the help section, but that' true that we need to make history for that, but it's a little bit early now as the main F.W is not finalized yet, but we will do our best to keep it organized.

remember, the user manuals also have a version on the bottom ( check the Pdf version )
