The Solo SOM Evaluation Board

Complete Open-Source Evaluation Board

The Open-Source Evaluation Board built for SOLO SOM, giving you full access to every communication interface and all Digital/Analog I/Os. This platform accelerates the development and testing of your next-generation motor controller, scaling easily across any power, voltage, or current level. Schematics for the SOLO SOM Evaluation Board, as well as all compatible evaluation boards, are fully available.

For Low-Voltage Motor Drive Applications

The Evaluation Board provides a direct interface to the Texas Instruments BOOSTXL-DRV8323RH board. This hands-on connection allows you to quickly learn and prototype a robust, general-purpose low-voltage motor drive and control system, ideal for systems below 60V.

For High-Voltage Motor Drive Applications

Our Evaluation Board also enables seamless interfacing with the TMDXIDK379D, a 400V rated Motor Inverter. Leverage this capability to design your High-Voltage Drives around the SOLO SOM, drastically cutting down your development time.

Programmable User Code

SOLO SOM gives you out-of-the-box access to a dedicated DSP user core from TI C2000 family and a variety of I/Os, so you can run your own firmware C code without needing extra MCUs that were previously required, saving size, BOM, and costs.
