I have a robot with 4WD that is using these motors https://www.servocity.com/5203-series-yellow-jacket-planetary-gear-motor-99-5-1-ratio-24mm-length-8mm-rex-shaft-60-rpm-3-3-5v-encoder/ and will use this battery https://www.aegisbattery.com/collections/li-ion-nmc-batteries/products/aegis-12v-20ah-lithium-ion-battery-pack-nmc-12v-lithium-battery I think I want to buy solo motors and I have questions.
I have questions about your motor controllers.
- Will solo motor controllers work with these motors and battery? I think they should but Im worried about the motor encoder -> solo motor controller compatibility.
- I think I will purchase 4 of these. https://www.solomotorcontrollers.com/product/solo-pico-16a/ as I think this will be sufficient for these motors. I will buy 1 controller for each wheel for each of the robots. Do you think this will work with these motors? I think the controllers support 1 motor each is this correct?
- Are there any example code repos that show how to set up the c++ code with a ros2 robot? I'd like to see the code being used with an example robot, rather than just seeing the c++ code by itself.
- If these motor controllers should work. Can I set them up so they are connected together and to the same power source? Or do they all need their own power source? Is there an example of wiring them when many of these controllers are needed on 1 robot?
- Does solo motors ship to the USA?
